The bachelor party, which is thrown about a month before the wedding, is essentially the ultimate guys’ trip. Get the groom-to-be on board One of the first things you’ll want to do before you start any bachelor party planning is to ask the groom what he has in mind for the weekend. See where each groomsmen is traveling from and, if it is possible, try and book flights together. Or, if some people are planning to drive, try and carpool or pick someone up on the way. Carpooling can save a little extra on gas money, too. Whichever way you all decide to travel, make sure you plan accordingly and book tickets fast.
Plan the itinerary Once you’ve finalized the logistics of the bachelor party, you’ll then want to decide on the trip’s itinerary. This means finding activities that the groom-to-be would want to do on his bach trip. Some of our favorites include checking out a brewery if he is into craft beer, going fly fishing if he’s the outdoorsy type, or even attending a concert if he’s a music junkie. Also, this is the time to figure out how you will get to and from the hotel to the restaurant or activity. Stock the fridge You’ll definitely want to stock up the fridge with all the necessities for the weekend. If you are planning a night for grilling out, you’ll want to make sure you have all the key ingredients such as steak sauce or other condiments and side dishes. Also, make sure to grab your buddy’s favorite beverage so you can crack open a cold one once everyone arrives!
